It all seemed right. All my boxes checked. But I just didn’t fall for it. I can’t figure out what was wrong, the love just wasn’t there.
Oh well. The search continues.
On the plus side I found out that I can use my Trikes as “implements” when doing yardwork. I need to pick up a couple of orange triangles bur hey! One step closer to getting one “street legal”!

Kudos to you for recognizing that. When I test drove [stupid boring story skipped] I never felt that comforting feeling of, “yeah I could drive this sucker every day all day.”
Sometimes even a good/great vehicle is the wrong vehicle.

That was the feeling I was hoping for!
With 2-3 years of payments ahead that “Yeah!” feeling needs to be there.
With Crusty that feeling wasn’t a necessity. An $800 vehicle is what it is.

The problem when you daily cheap cars is that the fact that they have served well for basically no money is why they are so wonderful.
When you buy a vehicle, say, 20 times more expensive, it better FEEL 20 times better.

Oh man. This is why it'll be hard to scrap or sell my metro. 9.5 years on an $800 beater that's not dead yet.

On a bigger scale, this is my problem with new trucks. My less than $22k brand new trick has been amazing to me for the last 10 years. When I drive a new one, that costs twice the price, it sure as heck doesn’t feel twice as nice. Imma keep my truck.

Gotta trust those gut instincts.
